Food was pretty good, you can choose traditional or authentic chinese food which was different from other restaurants . Recommend if you like to try and different style of chinese good!
Lam is the jam! Great flavors and quality food. Several steps above the average take-out. Ate here in 2020, we ordered several different items to try them out. There wasn't anything we received that was sub par. The wontons are awesome, Singapore Noodle is one of my favorites and the Chow Fun is also delicious. Ask for chili oil. Great place to eat. Good people.
Best authentic asian cuisine in NC. Very difficult to beat it and definitely worth visiting. It’s almost like a legend you know this is it before stepping in it the smell just spreading on the street. I had were out of blind choices however all experiences came out amazing. Lam’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in Matthews! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their General Tso’s chicken is crispy and delicious, and the lo mein is some of the best I’ve had. The staff is friendly, quick, and always gets the order right, whether dining in or taking out. Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Chinese food in the area!
Been thinking about going.. Wow it was amazing the crab soup was so delicious the red vinegar took it to the next level!! The soup was big maybe for 4-5 people! My sister and I made reservations just in case it got busy. Everything was sauteed to perfection n wasn’t greasy or too saucy!! The veggies and the beef noodle stir fry were my favs!! Of course we ordered the ginger lobster it was ok seems like it needed a little more something?? Think it’s the only restaurant in this area that sells this.. had some left to take home The staff and waitress were nice and helpful!! Just wish they had pictures on their menu, I was scrolling my phone to see what was what haha and eventually found em! Overall good
If your looking for delicious food in a family oriented environment this is definitely the spot. We had 9 people and were seated in the private room where we can share amongst each other. Loved this idea especially with kids. The staff from start to finish was excellent, attended to all our needs and questions. We decided to do a few different types of dishes to have the full experience and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, juicy and had a bunch of flavor. Highly recommend trying this place out.
The food is amazing. Really well done menu! Large but it offers everything you’d want. And the portions are shareable. Nothing was overcooked and the flavors were better than expected. The service was a bit slow and chaotic at times. Most dishes didn’t come at the same time for everyone. Reservations are welcome. Overall, I’ll choose here again for Chines food.
Went here on Easter Sunday and they had a line out the door at opening time. This restaurant is insanely busy so I highly recommend making reservations in advance. They have a full bar and a private room for bigger parties that require a 100 deposit and spending a minimum of 400. Our waitress was the sweetest lady and provided us with the best service. The food was delicious, and they also had dim sum which was a bonus for us. I recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience.
